Charging Stations:

Rooftop-deployable, weather-resistant units installed by individuals, businesses, or public entities. Each station supports autonomous drone docking and recharging, and acts as a network node. Contributors earn based on uptime, availability, and confirmed charging sessions. All interactions are logged and rewarded on-chain.

Autonomous Drones:

Owned and operated by Hummingbird, the fleet executes on-demand missions—surveillance, inspections, light logistics. Drones handle takeoff, landing, and return-to-base autonomously. While offering assisted-flying, for regulatory compliance, each mission requires remote supervision by the requesting user (or authorized operator), who must verify identity and maintain visibility during the task. This ensures every flight is compliant with local airspace rules while still offering autonomous functionality.

Platform Interface:

A web and mobile dashboard lets users browse the network via a real-time map, select nearby drones, assign tasks, stream live footage, and track mission progress. The UX abstracts complexity—payments, logging, and routing are all handled automatically by the protocol.

Protocol Layer:

The Hummingbird protocol is powered by the $HB token, which governs all economic and coordination mechanisms in the network. It enables:

  • Autonomous, on-chain rewards for contributors (charging station uptime, energy provided, missions completed) through Proof of Liveness and transparent task logging.

  • Tamper-proof mission execution via smart contracts that handle dispatch, confirmation, and settlement of each drone task.

  • Machine and owner identity management: every drone and charging station is registered on-chain and cryptographically linked to its operator’s wallet, enabling traceability and automated compliance.

  • Dynamic task-market coordination: when a user requests a mission, the protocol matches them with the nearest available drone and compatible charging stations—based on location, availability, uptime reputation, and network pricing.
